How much lead time is required for permits?
For 8,000m peaks, we recommend starting the process 4-6 months in advance. Hindu Kush 7,000m peaks typically require 3-4 months.
Can you support small independent teams?
Yes. We work with teams as small as two climbers, providing tailored logistics like 'permits and transport only' or full base camp support.
What communication options are available at Base Camp?
We facilitate satellite phone coordination and radio setups. In some Karakoram base camps, specialized mountain internet services may be available by arrangement.
How are loads handled on the approach?
Approach logistics typically involve porters in the Karakoram and a mix of porters and pack animals (horses/donkeys) in the Hindu Kush, depending on the valley trail conditions.
