TREK BENEATH THE HIGHEST HINDU KUSH PEAK

Base Camp Trekking | Into the Heart of the Hindu Kush

The Tirich Mir Base Camp trek is the defining high-altitude walking journey of the Chitral Hindu Kush. It follows the traditional approach route used by mountaineering expeditions, leading through the Terich Valley to the high glacier country beneath the 7,708m massif.

This is not a technical summit expedition, but it is a serious mountain trek. Altitude, glacier terrain, changing weather and several consecutive trekking days mean that preparation and a realistic pace are important.
