Broghil lies in the far north of Upper Chitral and forms a remote high-altitude landscape of open valleys, wetlands, lakes, glaciers and grazing country. It remains one of the most distinctive and culturally isolated mountain environments in northern Pakistan.
Road access in this region is seasonal and can change. The final route, vehicle plan, walking stages and accommodation should therefore be confirmed shortly before travel.
